§ 105. Mr. F. Noel-Bakerasked the Minister of Transport whether he will now announce a final decision as to the proposed width of the new Brentford High Street, in view of the fact that, although actual widening may be delayed, plans for the new frontage are now held up on account of uncertainty as to his intentions.
§ Mr. BarnesThe Middlesex County Council has now adopted for Brentford High Street the width of 74 feet recommended for shopping streets by the Departmental Committee on the Design and Layout of Roads in Built-up Areas, whose report was circulated to highway authorities on 18th March last.
