83. Sir W. Wakefield

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will give estimated figures of world trade in 1946 1947 and 1948, together with the anticipated share of this country in such work trade, and comparable figures for 1938 and if he will state the amount of expor trade formerly done by countries such as Germany and Japan, which it is expected will be obtained by the United Kingdom, using convenient years for comparative purposes.
