HC Deb 07 May 1946 vol 422 c77W
95. Mr. A. Lewis

asked the Minister of Works the reason for refusing the application for a licence to carry out distempering at the British Oxygen Works, trimming shop, Angel Lane, Edmonton: and whether he is aware that the filthy conditions obtaining in this shop are contrary to the Factory Acts.

Mr. Tomlinson:

The application for a licence to carry out distempering at the British Oxygen Works has not been refused. My regional licensing officer has asked the firm to supply further information on receipt of which the application will be given immediate attention.
