§ Sir B. SmithI strongly deprecate the holding of banquets at the present time of world food shortage. I am taking steps to ensure that the ordinary allow- 143W ances of food for meals in catering establishments are not exceeded at such functions, but the total amount of food consumed in this way is of course negligible in relation to our total consumption.
