HC Deb 14 November 1945 vol 415 cc2271-2W
Mr. Keeling

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware that the American film, Palestine Problem, now being shown at the Empire Cinema, advocates the unlimited immigration of Jews into Palestine and includes a statement by Professor Laski likely to offend Arab sentiment; and whether, in the interests of order in Palestine, he will forbid the importation of this film into that country.

Mr. George Hall

I have not seen this film, which I understand contains a statement of the Zionist attitude to immigration into Palestine. There is a film censorship board in Palestine which can, if thought desirable, forbid the showing of this film.
