asked the Minister of Pensions, whether there is any difference in rates of disability retired pay of officers disabled in the great war and the present one; and if so, what.

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to his previous Question on this subject on 17th February.

Mr. Hewlett

asked the Minister of Pensions how many mothers of fallen Service men are now receiving pensions; and what is the average sum paid.

Approximately 15,000 mothers are in receipt of pension in respect of sons and daughters who have died as a result of war service, and the average rate of pension is about 14s. a week.
