HC Deb 19 November 1942 vol 385 c525W
Mr. Lewis

asked the Minister of Labour whether any special provision is to be made for the care of aged or infirm persons who are at present dependent on the care of young female relatives, in order that the latter may be free to take up work of national importance?

Mr. Bevin

So far as my Ministry is concerned no general provision is in contemplation. Each individual case is considered to see whether reasonable alternative arrangements can be made.
