HC Deb 17 November 1942 vol 385 c208W
Sir I. Albery

asked the Minister of Labour whether the transfer of workers over 45 years of age from employment in high temperatures to outdoor employment is considered adequate ground for appeal?

Mr. Bevin

Any worker, whether transferred to employment in the circumstances referred to by my hon. Friend or otherwise, has an opportunity of appealing to a local appeal board if directed to the employment under Regulation 58A (1) of the Defence (General) Regulations.
