§ Mr. RamsbothamI considered this matter some time ago and reached the conclusion that, having regard to the uncertainties of the future, any advice I could give would need to be of so tentative a character as to have little value. His Majesty's Inspectors have, however, been informed of the considerations which they should bring to the notice of local education authorities should their advice on the subject of school holidays be sought.
