§ Mr. Ammonasked the Secretary for Petroleum whether he is aware that on 414W Saturday last there were several hundred motor cars attending the Catford Greyhound Stadium; and whether, having regard to the further restrictions on the consumption of petrol, he will put a stop to this waste?
Mr. LloydThe hon. Member is no doubt aware that the number of meetings at Catford has been reduced from three a week to one. As the number of cars present was approximately the same as previously, a very substantial reduction in the use of petrol has already been achieved.
