asked the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to the desire of retired and war-experienced officers of all ranks, to assist in the work of Army reconstruction and the training of new recruits; and whether, in view of their experience, he will consider some way of utilising their services?

Schemes for utilizing the services of retired officers are constantly under review, and a considerable number of such officers have already been engaged.
