HC Deb 04 May 1939 vol 346 c2090W
Captain Plugge

asked the Secretary of State for War what arrangements are to be made for the adequate entertainment of the troops in the event of war; and whether this matter will be placed, as in the last War, under the auspices of the Navy, Army, and Air Force Institute?

Sir V. Warrender

The entertainment of the troops in the event of war will be in the hands of the Navy, Army, and Air Force Institutes, and I am advised that adequate arrangements have been planned.
