§ Mr. Pethick-Lawrenceasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster how he proposes to deal with the complaints that the price at which a 280 pounds sack of flour is sold in Glasgow for Christmas sale is above the ordered price?
§ Mr. W. S. MorrisonI have not received complaints that flour is generally being sold in Glasgow at more than the price specified by the Flour (Prices) Order. My attention has, however, been called to instances where some small quantities of1300W imported flour which it has been difficult to classify under the Order have been sold at more than the permissible price. Steps are now being taken to regularise the matter by means of refunds.
