HC Deb 14 December 1938 vol 342 cc2010-1W
Mr. Lunn

asked the Minister of Transport whether he has now considered a resolution passed at a large public meeting held in Horbury near Wakefield regarding the death of a school girl caused by a lorry in one of the narrow streets in Horbury, which has been sent him by the hon. Member for Rothwell; and what abservations he has to make on the points in this resolution?

Mr. Burgin

I have now seen this resolution and have made a large number of inquiries. According to my information, the measures which it proposes are not feasible and appear to have no relevance to the cause of this unfortunate and regrettable accident.
