HC Deb 03 November 1937 vol 328 cc935-6W
Mr. Touche

asked the Minister of Transport whether, in his proposed inspection of the road from London to Brighton, he will give particular consideration to the question of re-imposing a 30 miles-per-hour speed limit on that road from Star Inn to Church Lane, Hooley, in view of the fact that the number of accidents has increased in this area, and that a petition signed by a number of residents was recently sent to him on this subject?

Mr. Burgin

I would assure my hon. Friend that I am giving most careful consideration to the representations which he has made to me about this length of road.
