HC Deb 03 November 1937 vol 328 c936W
Mr. Kelly

asked the Minister of Transport when the alterations to the Castleton, Lancashire, railway station are to be engaged upon by the railway company; and will this reconstruction include the raising of the passenger platform, in view of the discomfort and danger to passengers using this station?

Mr. Burgin

I am informed by the London Midland and Scottish Railway Company that they have this matter under active consideration, and I will communicate with the hon. Member when I learn the Company's decision.
