§ Mr. E. BrownI assume my hon. Friend refers to additions made to assessments on account of the special circumstances arising out of the rise in the cost of certain commodities, together with the coming of winter, dealt with in the Board's recent instruction. Under this instruction all cases on the Board's register are considered as they fall due for review. One such review has been completed and a further review is now in progress. The number of additions made during the four weeks ended 30th November, the latest date in respect of which information is available, was 254,543. This figure excludes cases in which the assessment already contained an equal or greater addition under standstill arrangements.

This figure excludes cases in which the assessment already contained an equal or greater addition under standstill arrangements.
