§ Mr. EDENAs regards the first part of the question, the Italian Government have not yet returned a reply to the note 565W addressed to them by His Majesty's Ambassador in Rome on 10th April, which was included in the White Paper Cmd. 5160. As regards the second part, I would refer my hon. Friend to the statement contained in the final paragraph of that note.
