§ Dr. BURGINThe numbers of immigrants into the United Kingdom from non-European countries in 1931, 1932 and 1933 were 73,056, 77,273 and 61,012, of whom about 1,680 in each year were foreigners. The numbers of emigrants from the United Kingdom to such countries were 35,697, 28,048 and 27,415, of whom all but about 4 per cent. were British subjects.
