HC Deb 04 February 1930 vol 234 c1706W
Mr. WOMERSLEY

asked the Secretary of State for War the last date upon which his Department reviewed the necessity for maintaining a staff of 203 persons at the offices of the War Graves Commission in Baker Street, Maryle-bone, W.; and whether he will authorise a revision during the coming month and before the transfer to other premises?

Mr. SHAW

The Imperial War Graves Commission have this question always under review. Reductions are continuous and coincide with the gradual reduction of the Commission's constructional work. The figure mentioned by the hon. Member will be reduced by 20 by 31st March next.
