§ Mr. SHEPHERDasked the Minister of Health whether he will draw the attention of his inspectors to the Report of a member of the joint vagrancy committee for the Kettering area to the effect that the number of casuals at a particular ward depended upon whether the master displayed a bullying attitude and strictly adhered to the rules, without regard to his own ideas of humanitarianism, as this had the effect of keeping down the numbers?
§ Miss LAWRENCEMy right hon. Friend has not seen the report referred to by my hon. Friend but any representations by a vagrancy committee would be brought to the notice of the Inspector.
