HC Deb 12 November 1929 vol 231 c1760W
Colonel CLIFTON BROWN

asked the Minister of Health if he proposes in the near future to amend the Public Health Acts so that in rural areas special rates for scavenging, &c, shall be paid only by those for whom the service is performed?

Miss LAWRENCE

The matter has been noted for consideration when an opportunity for legislation arises, but, owing to the pressure of other business, my right hon. Friend is unable to say whether it will be possible to take any action in the near future.
