HC Deb 14 November 1928 vol 222 cc908-9W
Sir R. THOMAS

asked the Minister of Health if he is aware of the indignation aroused in Wales by the measures which he has taken in regard to the Welsh Board of Health; and whether he is now prepared substantially to modify those measures?

Sir K. WOOD

My right hon. Friend is aware that objections were raised to the arrangements which were approved by him last summer for the conduct of business in the Welsh Board of Health. These objections were, in his view, largely based on misunderstandings, and he has nothing to add now to the statement which he made in the House, on 1st August last.
