HC Deb 10 November 1927 vol 210 c378W
Sir N. MOORE

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been drawn to the anomalies existing in regard to the present gaming laws and their administration, as exemplified in recent prosecutions in Ramsgate, London and other instances; whether it is intended to amend the law; and, if so, in what directions?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

I do not know what are the anomalies which my hon. Friend has in mind, and have not had under consideration any proposals for legislation on this subject.
