HC Deb 09 December 1926 vol 200 c2324W
Mr. GATES

asked the Home Secretary whether he is aware of the restricted facilities afforded to the public of travelling in omnibuses during the rush hours; and whether, with a view of obviating the discomforts to the travelling public, especially women, he will authorise an extension of the numbers allowed to stand inside omnibuses, at any rate during the winter season?

Captain HACKING

My right hon. Friend regrets that he does not see his way to reopen this question.
