HC Deb 04 March 1924 vol 170 c1211W
Mr. MILLS

asked the Minister of Transport what progress, if any, has been made in the matter of a main connecting road and tunnel from north to south, crossing the Thames at Gravesend; and whether, having regard to the large numbers of unemployed in Dartford, Crayford, Greenhithe, Swanscombe, and Gravesend, he will expedite this work?

Mr. GOSLING

I have nothing to add to the answer which I gave yesterday to the hon. Member on the same subject.
