HC Deb 29 July 1924 vol 176 c1903W
Captain ELLIOT

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the Parkhurst military cemetery is in an extremely neglected condition, and that the headstones are hidden from sight by long grass; and whether he will take steps to see that this cemetery is properly cared for?

Mr. WALSH

Generally speaking, this cemetery is properly cared for, and I regret any appearance of neglect due to delay in cutting the grass. Cutting has now been begun, and the grass will all he cleared away shortly.
