§ Mr. HARMSWORTHasked the Minister of Pensions whether he is aware that, in the case of Mr. E. M. Maton, of 9, Monkton Place, Ramsgate, the period for which treatment allowances have been granted has been restricted to the first fortnight after disembarkation from the s.s. "Orcades" as unfit for work; and whether, seeing that the same state of disability must have continued in the interval, as certified by local medical opinion, until his admission to hospital when it was found necessary to operate, he will reconsider this case?
Mr. ROBERTSThe necessary evidence to enable the Ministry to determine the period for which allowances are properly payable under the terms of the Warrant has been asked for, but is not yet forthcoming. Further inquiries are being made.
