§ Mr. SHAWAt the end of June there were 5,279 ex-service men receiving training in Government instructional factories and other training centres. In addition, there were 3,335 receiving training in employers' workshops, 3,567 were awaiting training, of whom 2,141 are resident in Ireland. Of those awaiting training 844 were temporarily unfit for training, and 230 others were being considered for civil liabilities grants in lieu of training. 3,205 men who have completed the institutional part of their training are awaiting improverships.
