Mr. CASSELS

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware that certain permanent clerks in the Civil Service, who obtained their positions as the result of passing an examination in 1919, are receiving smaller salaries than clerks in the same category who passed a similar examination in 1920; and whether steps can be taken to give equal treatment to these clerks?
