§ Lieut.-Colonel BUCKLEYThe question of expanding the Trade Commissioner and Commercial Diplomatic Services within the limits of the funds at the disposal of my Department is receiving my earnest consideration. The functions of the members of these services-are not merely to collect information, but also to secure trade for the United Kingdom, and this branch of their work is borne in mind when officers for the services are being selected.
