An HON. MEMBER(whose named did not appear on. the paper) asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in connection with trade with Russia, there is in existence any sort of safe conduct regarded as effective which can be utilised by British subjects wishful to visit Russia; and, if so, the number of cases in which such safe conducts have been issued?
§ Mr. R. McNEILLBritish subjects travelling in Russia for purposes of trade carry no safe conduct other than a British passport bearing the visa of the Russian authorities. The second part of the question therefore does not arise.
