HC Deb 12 April 1923 vol 162 c1335W
Mr. A. V. ALEXANDER

asked the Postmaster-General if he is aware that an important and urgent envelope containing documents was posted at High Wycombe and stamped at 8.45 p.m., on 24th March, for Chesham, 11 miles away, but only reached its destination on 28th March; the reason for the delay; and what steps he proposes to take to prevent a recurrence?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

I have no means of identifying the case from the particulars given, but if the hon. Member will be good enough to send me the cover of the letter in question I will have inquiry made.
