HC Deb 12 April 1923 vol 162 c1335W
Mr. MIDDLETON

asked the Postmaster-General whether licences for the receipt of broadcasted matter are made to the occupants of licensed premises; and, if so, whether he has received any complaints against the regulation which permits of it?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

The answer to the first part of the hon. Member's question is in the affirmative. Representations have been made on the subject; but I am not in a position to refuse the grant of a wireless licence on the ground that the receiving apparatus is to be installed on licensed premises.
