HC Deb 09 May 1922 vol 153 cc2026-7W
Mr. G. LOCKER-LAMPSON

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what has been the cost up to date of the Genoa Conference?

Earl WINTERTON

Accounts of the expenditure in respect of the Genoa Conference up to date have not yet been received, and it is impossible, therefore, to furnish a complete statement. So far as is known, expenditure has been incurred during the first month of the Conference, in respect of travelling expenses, hotel gratuities, etc., to an approximate total of £2,500.
