Sir J. D. REESasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury when the Select Committee on Conscientious Objectors will be set up; who will be members; whether it will report during the present Session; and whether it will deal with those young men who evaded military service on other pretexts than that of conscience?
Mr. YOUNGI would refer the hon. Baronet to the OFFICIAL REPORT of the 24th February for a statement as to the appointment of the Committee and the Members nominated to serve on it. Whether the Committee, whose inquiry is limited to the case of conscientious objectors, will report this Session or not depends on the progress made. I fear that I do not understand to whom the last part of the question refers.
