HC Deb 04 March 1921 vol 138 c2188W
Mr. CHARLES EDWARDS

asked the Home Secretary how many police authorities have refused to adopt the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1920; if he can give the number who have made no increased payments up to the present, and the number and names of authorities who have given less than the increase allowed under that Act; and if he will take steps to ensure that its provisions are carried out!

Mr. SHORTT

I am obtaining a return in this matter and will communicate with my hon. Friend when the information is complete. I may say, however, that the great majority of the police authorities have given the full rates of increase.
