HC Deb 29 March 1920 vol 127 c903W
Mr. BOWERMAN

asked the Minister of Pensions whether the claim to a pension by Mr. P. H. Young, late second-lieutenant the Buffs, may be reconsidered in view of the medical evidence presented by this officer to the effect that a contracted muscle in the leg, due to wounds, would never improve?

Sir J. CRAIG

This officer was awarded a gratuity, under Article 8 of the Royal Warrant of 1st August, 1917, as being disabled to the extent of less than 20 per cent., but, in view of the appeal which the hon. Member makes on his behalf, arrangements are being made to have him re-examined by a Medical Appeal Board.
