HC Deb 29 March 1920 vol 127 c903W
Major GLYN

asked the Minister of Pensions whether immediate steps can be taken to extend the powers of the Special Grants Committee so as to enable them to take into consideration the fall in the purchasing power of money; and if steps have been taken with this object, when is it hoped that the new regulations will become operative?

Sir J. CRAIG

Revised regulations of the Special Grants Committee which will enable effect to be given, in suitable cases, to the hon. and gallant Member's suggestion are at present under consideration.
