HC Deb 29 March 1920 vol 127 c903W
Captain REDMOND

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the War Office whether any action is being taken to grant increased pension or temporary war bonus on pension to the Army pensioners in War Office employment in Ireland whose services were graded as indispensable in their civil employment during the War, as the pensioners who were allowed to rejoin the colours have had their pensions increased?

Sir A. WILLIAMSON

I regret that, in Ireland as elsewhere, it is not possible to depart from the general rule that the pensioner must have re-enlisted to qualify for increase of pension.
