HC Deb 25 November 1919 vol 121 cc1662-3W
Mr. ADAMSON

asked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that in connection with a dispute at Newburgh, Fife, certain quarrymasters have dismissed a number of men on the ground that the men had joined a trade union; whether he is aware that these quarrymasters are members of the Quarrymasters' Association, and federated under the Joint Industrial Council; and whether he can take any action in this matter?

Sir R. HORNE

The attention of the Department has been called to this matter, and negotiations are proceeding with a view to settling the dispute.
