HC Deb 02 April 1919 vol 114 cc1237-8W
Mr. STEWART

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether the Government have acquired 30,000 tons of potash from Germany and are about to dispose of it; whether it is to be sold through the Department or through ordinary business channels; and whether farmers are to have some preference when buying it?

Sir ARTHUR BOSCAWEN

The subject to which my hon. Friend refers is under consideration, and I am not able at present to make any announcement thereon.
