HC Deb 21 March 1918 vol 104 c1219W
Mr. HINDS

asked the Postmaster-General whether he will consider the advisability of increasing the amount of the pensions granted to employés of the Post Office in view of the increased cost of living that has taken place since the amount of pensions was fixed?

Mr. ILLINGWORTH

As stated in reply to a similar question on the 13th November, Post Office pensioners are in the same position as other retired Civil Servants, and I am not in a position to take independent action in the matter.
