HC Deb 21 March 1918 vol 104 cc1219-20W
Mr. TILLETT

asked the Postmaster-General if any invention or improvement of wireless telegraphy is determined by Marconi experts appointed by the Government; and, if so, what improvement is possible when a vested interest determines any experiment for improvement?

Mr. ILLINGWORTH

The Post Office has its own experts in wireless telegraphy and does not rely on those of the Marconi Company for the investigation of inventions or improvement in the art. So far as I am aware, the position is the same in the case of the other Government Departments concerned.
