HC Deb 21 February 1918 vol 103 c949W
Mr. PERKINS

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the contagious nature of the so-called Isle of Wight bee disease, he will consider the propriety of instituting measures for compulsory notification and destruction of all affected hives, compensation being paid to their owners?

Sir R. WINFREY

As at present advised, the President is not prepared to introduce legislation dealing with this subject during the War.
