§ Mr. DUKEThe Moneyslane School Attendance Committee held twelve meetings during the year ending 12th May, 1917. In five cases there was no quorum. During the period mentioned the attendance officer paid 140 visits to the thirteen schools in the district. The committee consists of ten members, half selected by the Commissioners of National Education and half by the local authority on the recommendation of the local county councillor. Some of the members were not summoned to the meeting on the 12th May, 1917, but no attendance officer was appointed at that meeting.
