asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether be has any official information showing that numerous boycotting notices have been in calculation in the Swanlinbar district of county Cavan; and whether the Royal Irish Constabulary are in possession of any such notices or aware of the same, and generally in what condition this district is?

Mr. DUKE

The Royal Irish Constabulary are not aware of any boycotting notices having been circulated in the Swanlinbar district during the past twelve months. I am informed that the district is in a quiet and orderly condition.
