HC Deb 09 November 1916 vol 87 c422W
Mr. BYRNE

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether the Government promised and have given guarantees to the board of director of the Great Southern and Western Railway Company of Ireland that any financial loss to the company, due to the advance in wages recently conceded to their workshop employés at Inchicore, would be provided for by the Government?

Mr. DUKE

I have no knowledge of any such guarantees.
