asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether, having regard to the increased cost of living, the Admiralty will reconsider their decision of only granting a 6d. increase in the wages of the riggers of His Majesty's dockyards?

Dr. MACNAMARA

As I stated on 25th February, the small increase of pay recently granted, as from 1st October last, makes the uniform rate for riggers equal to the special rate maximum for skilled labourers. This seems to meet the justice of the case.
