§ Mr. HOGGEasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what was the reason for the delay in the French Yellow Book being reasonably accessible to the public?
§ Sir E. GREYCopies of the French Yellow Book were received on December 5th, and on the 16th copies of the official translation were circulated to Members of Parliament and to the Press, and the publication was afterwards placed on sale in the usual way. There was a great demand for copies, and there may have been some delay in making an adequate supply at once available; but in view of the amount of work entailed in translating, printing, and publishing so large a volume, I do not consider that complaint of delay is in general well founded.
